What has long been called Proto-Canaanite by modern scholarship is, in truth, Proto-Kenanite—named not after Canaan (KaNaN), son of Ham, but after Kenan (KaYaNaN), descendant of Seth, the righteous bloodline preserved from Adam through Enosh (ANaYaSH)
